MAKING INDEPENDENT THEATRE
TAKES A COMMUNITY
Behind every performance, lighting cue, and workshop at Lang Spot is an extraordinary amount of unseen effort.
The reality of running an independent creative space and producing live theatre is that venue maintenance, daily operations, and production overheads consume most of what we earn. Because of these tight economics, we often cannot pay our incredible artists, creators, and collaborators what their time and talent are truly worth.
So much of what makes Lang Spot possible relies on people being deeply generous with their energy, passion, and time without financial compensation.
